In 2025 Johannes Lohff was appointed as Director of MEP for Tilke GmbH & Co. KG.
Johannes Lohff studied Electrical Engineering at FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences in Germany. His professional career first took him to Lüdenscheid, Wetter, and Gevelsberg, where he worked in the field of refrigeration system construction and installation.
In 2010, he joined Tilke Engineers & Architects. Since then, Johannes has been an integral part of nearly every major motorsport project, contributing his expertise in in the field of race electronics and motorsport-related electrical engineering. His portfolio includes prestigious Formula 1 circuits such as the Circuit of the Americas in Austin (USA), Sochi Autodrom (Russia), Bahrain International Circuit, Jeddah Corniche Circuit (KSA), and the Las Vegas Strip Circuit (USA).
Beyond Formula 1, Johannes has also been involved in smaller but highly regarded club projects, including Flatrock Motorsports Club in Tennessee (USA), Pradera Verde Circuit in the Philippines, and the Bilster Berg Racetrack in Germany.
Extensive on-site assignments in Las Vegas, Jeddah, Sochi, and other international locations provided him with in-depth experience in both construction and project implementation. Over the years, Johannes has taken on increasing levels of responsibility within projects. In 2025 Johannes was appointed Director of MEP at Tilke.
