As highlight of the season the Moto GP takes place. Sachsenring is known by all motorbike fans.

This is based historically: Since its opening in 1927 motorbike races take place here. The time-honored racetrack has deserved the modernization very well. This was finished by Tilke in 2001 and covers besides the homologation of category 2 the construction of a new grandstand, a new pit building and a race controll tower.
