In 2024 Aaron Eckert was appointed as Director of Architecture for Tilke GmbH & Co. KG.
Aaron Eckert studied Architecture at RWTH Aachen University in Germany from 2002 to 2009 and joined Tilke Engineers & Architects already in 2007, while still completing his studies. Since then, he has grown with the company, becoming a key figure in the realization of innovative, high-profile international projects. Over the years, he contributed to major developments such as the Yas Marina Circuit, the Formula 1 Street Circuit in Valencia, the Buddh International Circuit, the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, V1 Autoworld and Kuwait Motor Town.
In 2017, he took on the role of Senior Project Manager and has since led interdisciplinary teams on large-scale projects including the FIFA Football Stadium in Bahrain, the Flatrock Club Racetrack in Tennessee, the Jeddah Corniche Circuit and the Lusail International Circuit and several other automotive facility projects.
Aaron stands out for his talent in early-stage conceptual design. He is known for his strong design sensibility, his ability to develop bold architectural visions, and his determination to bring those ideas to life. His creative mindset and strategic approach make him a driving force in shaping some of Tilke’s most ambitious and forward-looking projects. In 2024, Aaron was appointed Director of Architecture.
