CIRCUIT DESIGN – FROM CONCEPT TO DETAIL

CIVIL ENGINEERING

A concept transfer into a detailed design needs a high technical know-how and a large experience. This counts especially for the highly specialized race- and test track projects. Every project is a prototype in this case, not a conveyor product. Every areal and every intention bring special and individual challenges, which can be solved by our highly qualified engineers.

RACE ELECTRONICS AND TRACK LIGHTING

The race electronics with the race control system resemble the core components of supervising and directing the operations on the track. Our design and consultancy services cover the complete spectrum of race electronic items such as circuit camera system, time keeping, satellite master antenna tv system, public address system, signaling system. Furthermore, we can help you to implement a track lighting system. We advise you to select the right system for your purposes, we do the track lighting design and support the realization process. We deliver a complete and cosistent race electronics package which complies with fia and fim regulations. We also cultivate a network of suppliers allowing us to implement proper up-to-date products into your project. We also recommend to create interfaces between the race electronics and other media, to enhance the user experience for spectators and the general public.

SPECIAL RACETRACK ASPHALT DESIGN

Even the smallest detail at the asphalt design can cause important effects on the tracks quality. Aspects like the surfaces flatness and grip influence the drive dynamic directly. Our services include an examination of the available materials and asphalt mixtures; based on those results our team prepares and presents detailed specifications relating to asphalt formulation. The compliance with the guidelines of FIA, FIM, and CIK is ensured by our asphalt advice and integration control. To guarantee a cost-effective implementation we consider, if possible, regional materials and aggregates.

FIA / FIM / CIK HOMOLOGATION

6

In order to be officially licensed to host motorsports events, your circuit must comply with the FIA, FIM and CIK regulations. We will advise you step by step during the entire homologation process and provide the necessary design documents for the submissions. Moreover, during the construction phase, our consultants will lay a special emphasis on all such elements on site subject to the homologation inspection. You already have a circuit and want to get or upgrade your FIA, FIM or CIK Circuit Homologation Grade? We would be glad to support you with the homologation design and guide you through the whole homologation process. The circuit layout, as well as the estimated realization costs, will depend on the required FIA, FIM or CIK homologation grade. Because of that we will guide you through the different circuit homologation grades and find the right choice for your circuit. In this context, we will draw up the pros/cons and evaluate the costs implications. With this exercise, we are basically providing you with a transparent decision-making instrument. Through early communication with the representatives of the FIA, FIM, and CIK we manage to ensure planning certainty at an early stage so that the desired homologation can be achieved.

3D MODELLING

Bringing the design onto paper is one thing. But to further grasp the notion of the master plan with the circuit and buildings elements we can generate a 3D Model of the project with the surrounding area. With regards to the driving experience, we can also offer the client a virtual and interactive 3D DRIVING SIMULATION. The 3D Model of the project in combination with the authentic driving simulation are extremely valuable MARKETING tools. Especially with the driving simulation, we give potential track users a platform to experience and GET A FEELING for the circuit prior to construction. Previous projects have shown that this is an extremely cost-effective way to raise interest within such target groups.
