Discover Everland Speedway, one of South Korea’s most established motorsport venues. Tilke modernized the circuit to improve safety, performance, and flexibility while preserving its racing heritage.
Everland Speedway has played an important role in South Korean motorsport for many years. To prepare the venue for future racing activities, Tilke carried out a comprehensive modernization program between 2010 and 2011.
As part of the project, Tilke developed a new eastern track extension. This addition created new layout options and improved the overall driving experience. As a result, the circuit became more flexible and suitable for a wider range of motorsport activities.
In addition, Tilke resurfaced the entire track to improve grip and consistency. The team also upgraded the drainage system. Consequently, the circuit now delivers more reliable performance during changing weather conditions.
Furthermore, safety improvements formed a key part of the modernization program. Tilke enhanced critical areas throughout the facility and brought the circuit closer to modern motorsport standards.
Today, Everland Speedway continues to serve drivers, teams, and motorsport enthusiasts alike. The project demonstrates how targeted engineering upgrades can improve an existing circuit while preserving its unique character and history.
