Jan Kral is Tilke’s leading Design Director for Street Circuits

After graduating with a degree in civil engineering from RWTH Aachen University in 2001, Jan Kral was able to further expand his experience in the field of construction management, which he had already learnt during his studies, at RAMM + BOHR in Wallenhorst, Germany.

In 2002 he founded MB Spezialtiefbau GmbH, which he successfully managed for 4 years.

In 2006 Jan looked for a new challenge and worked as a freelancer for various companies. During this time the paths crossed with Tilke for the first time.

After successful cooperation on projects such as the Bucharest Ring and the Baku City Circuit, we wanted to continue these and are happy that we were able to win Jan as a permanent employee for our company in 2015. Since then he has been responsible for the planning and management of Street Circuits.
