In 2024 Stefan Weng was appointed as Director of Architecture for Tilke GmbH & Co. KG.
Stefan Weng holds a dual academic background from RWTH Aachen University, where he first earned his degree in Civil Engineering (1997–2001) before pursuing Architecture from 2001 to 2007. He graduated as a Diplom-Ingenieur in Architecture in 2007, combining technical expertise with architectural vision.
He joined Tilke Engineers & Architects in 2008 and has since played a key role in the development of numerous internationally recognized racetrack projects. His track portfolio includes the Buddh International Circuit, Circuit of the Americas, Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, Sochi Autodrom, and the Lusail International Circuit, where he acted as Senior Project Manager. In addition to racetrack design, Stefan has led several additional major developments, such as the V1 Autoworld Club Track, the NECC Convention Center in Bahrain, and multiple automotive experience centers worldwide. In 2024, he was appointed Director of Architecture.
