Manuel Rubow, Design Director for Test Tracks and Race Circuit Design, holds a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Applied Sciences in Oldenburg. With extensive experience as the managing director of a family-owned transport company during his studies, he joined Tilke in 2012.

 

In addition to his professional background, Manuel is an active racing driver with notable achievements in various international touring car and GT racing series. In 2011, he founded his own racing team, focusing on the rental and operation of touring cars for national and international events. His expertise is further complemented by experience as a test driver for an OEM in the automotive industry.

In his role at Tilke, Rubow’s core responsibilities include advising and supporting early project phases across a variety of projects. He specializes in translating complex geometries and requirements into cohesive and consolidated master plans. Additionally, he offers strategic consulting for motorsport and test track facilities.

 

With significant experience in collaborating with the automotive industry, he has played a key role in the design of complex test tracks, meeting future demands from vehicle dynamics to autonomous driving. His expertise extends to the analysis and consultation on safety concepts and detailed solutions. Rubow is also committed to implementing forward-thinking and sustainable comprehensive solutions for motorsport facilities and test and development tracks.
