Planning for the project began in 2010, with a strong focus on creating a circuit that takes full advantage of the site’s natural terrain. The resulting 3-kilometer track features dramatic elevation changes of up to 30 meters, creating a dynamic and technically demanding driving experience. Six different circuit configurations provide exceptional flexibility and allow multiple events to take place simultaneously.
A key highlight of the development is the Driver Development Center, the first facility of its kind in the United States. Equipped with specialized training features such as a skid pad and ice hill, the center enables drivers to develop advanced vehicle control skills and simulate a wide range of driving conditions in a safe environment.
Beyond the main circuit, Atlanta Motorsports Park offers a complete motorsport lifestyle experience. The 61.5-acre complex includes a CIK Level 1/A karting circuit, clubhouse, café and restaurant, rental garages, and trackside residences. Together, these elements create a unique destination for racing, driver education, recreation, and community engagement.
