The Chang International Circuit in Thailand was opened in October 2014 after just 422 days of construction, becoming Thailand’s first FIA Grade 1 and FIM Grade A circuit.

Since then, professional motorsport events such as MotoGP, the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, the GT World Challenge Asia, and the Asia Road Racing Championship have been regularly held there, attracting up to 100,000 spectators.

Often alternatively referred to as the Buriram International Circuit due to its location, the track is theoretically even suitable for Formula 1 due to its homologation.
