Dhow Village

Dhow Village is an urban development project located on the waterfront of Manama, the capital of Bahrain. This tradition-inspired floating construction, reminiscent of a crescent moon, encompasses a variety of spaces, including boutiques, cafés, restaurants, a museum and exhibition areas. Dhow Village is designed to become a modern leisure and entertainment hub for people of all ages in Bahrain.

A spectacular roof structure provides shading and serves as a wind barrier. This architectural marvel resonates as a landmark, with its design inspired by the bows of traditional Bahrainian dhows, interpreted in a modern architectural way. The fan-like arrangement of the roof structures enhances this design, blending cultural heritage with contemporary aesthetics.

Radially oriented moorings for smaller boats allow easy access from the sea, while curved pedestrian bridges connect the floating construction to the waterfront promenade.

Dhow Village promises to become a delightful destination for visitors, offering a wide array of entertainment options. It provides a wholesome experience, making it a vibrant destination for families.
