Flatrock Motorsports Park

With an impressive track length of 5.9 miles (9.49 kilometers), Flatrock Motorsports Park stands out as a premier destination for motorsport enthusiasts. The facility spans across 800 acres, offering space for a range of exciting features both on and off the racetrack.

Nestled on the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee, Flatrock Motorsports Park is open to its members for at least 200 days each year. The 34 turns of the circuit skillfully integrate the natural topography, taking drivers through breathtaking landscapes. Like other modern motorsport clubs, Flatrock offers various track configurations, including the 2.6-mile (4.2-kilometer) FIA-certified GP track and the 3.5-mile (5.6-kilometer) Club Course, which can be split into two smaller tracks (West and East) for different racing experiences.

One of the standout features of Flatrock Motorsport is its division into private and semi-private areas for members. The facility includes a clubhouse with a pool, a restaurant, a spa, premium paddock facilities, as well as single-family homes, villas, and garage lofts for comfortable and exclusive access.

The architecture of Flatrock seamlessly blends local traditions with modern design, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere. Spacious verandas, paired with enclosed interior spaces, reflect the regional architectural language, while covered terraces offer guests of the Flatrock Club the opportunity to enjoy fresh air in a sheltered outdoor setting, protected from wind and rain.

Sustainability is at the heart of the design, with locally sourced materials such as wood and natural stone thoughtfully combined with expansive glass fronts. This harmonious interplay of textures creates a sense of both lightness and warmth, allowing the architecture to integrate naturally into the surrounding landscape.

This architectural idea runs consistently through all the buildings on-site. Communal spaces like the clubhouse, pitbuilding, and restaurant feature traditional gabled roofs, characteristic of the region, while the premium garages and villas adopt sleek, flat-roof designs. The result is a dynamic and visually diverse ensemble that balances tradition with contemporary elegance.

Looking to the future, Flatrock has plans to expand with even more exciting offerings. New additions will include a karting track, an entertainment amphitheater, a hotel, a brewery, and a commercial center, all designed to elevate the motorsport experience. With its combination of thrilling racing and top-tier amenities, Flatrock Motorsport promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for its members.
